Haryana State Rural Livelihoods Mission (HSRLM) is dedicated to empowering rural
communities in Haryana, with a special focus on the four pillars of a developed India—youth,
farmers, the poor, and women—as envisioned by the Honorable Prime Minister. By equipping
them with tools, skills, and opportunities for sustainable development, HSRLM aims to reduce
poverty, promote financial independence, and foster an inclusive and gender-just society.
Established in 2011 under the Society Act of 2012, the mission aligns with the vision of Viksit
Bharat 2047 and works toward mainstreaming marginalized communities.
HSRLM implements three major schemes—DAY-NRLM, DDU-GKY, and RSETI—under the
Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), targeting key areas of rural empowerment, including
skill development, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurship, to foster sustainable livelihoods and
economic growth.
