Smt. Renu Yadav joined Self-Help Group in November 2017. Before joining the SHG, Renu Yadav's economic condition was very uncomfortable. However, after becoming a part of the group under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), her life took a positive turn.
Renu Yadav became very active within the SHG and, in November 2020, she started a small milk dairy with three animals by securing loans from both banks and the SHG under NRLM. Her hard work and determination paid off, and she now owns 25 animals, earning an impressive Rs. 1 lakh per month from her dairy business.
In addition to her personal success, Renu Yadav has made remarkable contributions to social mobilization, encouraging other poor women to join SHGs under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM). She has also played a crucial role in motivating SHG women to participate in vaccination drives and other initiatives such as plantation drives and ensuring coverage of SHG members under various insurance schemes.
Renu Yadav's journey is a shining example of how SHGs can empower women, transform lives, and foster community development.
